We have made several recent enhancements based on our clients feedback.


New Enhancements:

  • Change History
    • All user and system changes are now visible at the Resident, Property and Company level.  Easily view view or export changes for audit, tracking or compliance purposes.

  • Resident Activity
    • We have re-built and upgraded the resident notes section and changed it to Resident Activity.  The enhancements ensure that all activity notes will follow the resident at renewal and move-out, can easily be printed or exported to Excel.

  • Maintenance Ticket Text Messages
    • We have updated the maintenance ticket module to provide an option to Text a vendor when assigned.  If a vendor has an email or text in their profile, you can indicate how you want to notify them of the ticket.  Previously email was the only option.
  • Renters Insurance Settings
    • Renters insurance settings allow you to indicate if you require renters insurance.  By requiring renters insurance, a note will be added in the resident portal if the resident does not have insurance.  Whether insurance is required or not, residents can purchase renters insurance through Renter Insight, or upload proof of a third party policy.

  • Pet Rent added As Unique Charge Type
    • Pet Rent has been added as a stand alone charge type.  When used, Pet Rent will have it's own line item on financial reports.

Renter Insight has integrated with NELCO to seamlessly file 1099 NEC & Misc. on Vendors and Property Owners.
  • The IRS requires 1099 filing on most payments over $600.
  • For 2025, IRS requires electronic transmission for 10+ filings.

Vendor Tracking

      • We have updated vendor tracking to track licenses, insurance certificates & more.
      • Export Vendor Report allows for easy vendor insurance & licensing audits.

      • In some cases, the months reported were not displayed for subscribers on the resident portal.  Rents were reported each month, but they were not displayed properly.  This has been fixed.
